CCPA Compliance
VAHU: Visionary AI & Human Understanding is committed to respecting your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendment, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This page explains how these laws apply to our informational website and how you can exercise your rights.
Scope and Applicability
As an informational blog with no user registration, account creation, or database storage of personal information, VAHU does not collect personal data for commercial purposes. However, we do use third-party analytics and cookies to understand general site traffic and improve content delivery. Under the CCPA/CPRA, this may constitute the collection of "personal information" as defined by the law, even if we do not sell or share it for profit.
Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA
- Right to Know: You have the right to request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information collected by VAHU, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: While VAHU does not sell or share personal information for monetary or valuable consideration, you may still exercise this right. See the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" section below.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: You may exercise your rights without being denied goods or services, charged different prices, or receiving a different level of service.
- Right to Authorized Agents: You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf, provided they present verifiable proof of authorization.
How We Comply
VAHU does not maintain any personally identifiable databases or user profiles. We use Google Analytics and similar tools to collect aggregated, anonymized data about visitor behavior (e.g., page views, session duration, geographic region). We do not link this data to individual identities. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.

Under CCPA/CPRA, the following may be considered personal information collected automatically:
- IP address

- Operating system
- Pages visited and time spent

This data is used solely for site analytics and performance optimization and is not retained beyond 30 days.
Legal Basis for Processing
Our processing of personal information is based on legitimate interest — specifically, improving user experience, ensuring site functionality, and maintaining security. We do not rely on consent for these activities, as they are necessary for the operation of our informational website.
